Each item is unique and there might be some differences in color, shape, or texture between the photos and the actual item.
Shipping All items are carefully packed and shipped with tracking using Royal Mail in the UK. For UK domestic shipping, your item will be sent using Royal Mail First Class (untracked). For international shipping, it will be Royal Mail Tracked and Signed. Depending on where you live, they might take a few weeks to be delivered to you. Helga Jewellery is not responsible for items lost, stolen or damaged in the post. Due to Brexit, there may be import taxes incurred and the customer at their home country (in the EU) will be responsible for this payment. Please look at your local postal services to see what the charges may be prior to purchasing.
Returns (Exchange and Refunds) If you are unhappy with your item, you can return it up to 14 days after delivery and request either an exchange or a refund. However, we make an exception for earrings, which cannot be exchanged once they have been worn. Please note that you will have to pay for shipping when sending back your item. Returned items must be in original condition and in their original packaging.
Care Please use only warm soapy water to clean your jewellery. A metal specific polishing cloth can also be used to rejuvenate your piece. Unless specified our jewellery pieces are unpolished and can change colour over time (especially if left unworn). This is not a manufacturing fault, just the manner of the material, such as alloy findings (with the exception of stainless steel, which doesn't tarnish due to the chemical makeup of the metal).
For pearls, this is a list of "don't do it!" that you should take note of in order to look after them the best you can: • do not drop your pearl jewellery on hard surfaces, the nacre will crack! • do not submerge it under water or any other aqueous fluids • do not wear them with openly ripped/woven clothing • do not expose the pearls to perfume, cream, lotion and make up. The chemicals in these products can damage the nacre.
For cleaning, you should clean the pearls with a lightly damped cloth and should wait till your perfume, cream, lotion and make up to be fully dried before putting your jewellery on (always wear your jewellery last).
Repairs Helga jewellery has sustainability as an important value and therefore encourages repairs of broken jewellery. Free repairs (excluding shipping) are offered on items deemed damaged due to poor craftsmanship, although I endeavour to make each piece of jewellery as best I can. However, I understand that mistakes and quality oversight can happen, I am happy to make repairs for you to ensure the jewellery can be worn for many more years to come.

Our website is hosted by Big Cartel, which is GDPR compliant (https://help.bigcartel.com/gdpr) and provides us with the necessary tools to ensure we can comply with your rights as a customer to access, correct, erase, and export your data. We can notably edit or delete your personal information upon request.
